【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesrequirementsforthemanufacture,performanceandtestingofpanicdevicesmechanicallyoperatedbyeitherahorizontalpush-barorahorizontaltouch-barspecificallydesignedforuseinapanicsituation.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotspecifyanyparticulardesignofpanicdeviceandonlysuchdimensionsasarerequiredforsafetyreasonsarespecified.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotcoverspecificdevicesintendedforusebytheseverelydisabledDuetothewiderangeofdisabilities,suchdevicesandtheirperformancesshouldbeagreedbetweenspecifierandmanufacturer.PanicdevicescoveredbythisEuropeanStandardareforuseonhingedorpivoteddoorleavesonly,notexceeding200kginmass,2500mminheightand1300mminwidth.ThisEuropeanStandardcoverstwospecificdesignsofpanicdevices:thosedesignedforuseonsingleleafdoorsonly,andthosespecificallydesignedforuseonsingleleafdoorsand/ordoubledoorsets.ThisEuropeanStandardcoverstwospecifictypesofhorizontalbaroperation:panicdeviceswith'push-bar',typeA(see3.17andfigure2)andpanicdeviceswith'touch-bar',typeB(see3.19andfigure3).ThisEuropeanStandardcoverstwocategoriesofdeviceprojectioninordertomaximizethewidthoftheescaperouteandminimizetheprojectionfromthedoorfacewhereeitherorbothofthesecriteriaareofimportance(see4.1.10).Thesuitabilityofapanicdeviceforuseonfire/smokedoorassembliesisdeterminedbyfireperformancetestsconductedinadditiontotheperformancetestsrequiredbythisEuropeanStandard.AnnexBindicatesadditionalrequirementsfortheseproducts.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotcoveremergencyexitdevicesoperatedbyaleverhandleorpush-pad(seeEN179)orelectricallycontrolledpanicoremergencyexitsystems,standardsforwhicharepresentlybeingdeveloped(seeannexE).
